As the milestones and special events are planned, my goal is to become your lifetime photographer.

In order to accurately depict who your children and family are through the lens, I think it is important to have a traveling studio as well as a permanent studio. My studio is your home or location of your choice. I have all the necessities to set up a small area in your home to take formal portraits.

I approach each wedding with gratitude for the incredible privilege to document one of the most important days in a person's life. With this honor, I capture the moments as they unfold in a sincere and unobtrusive way. My formal education in fine art and graphic design from the Maryland Institute College of Art plays an essential role in the way I create my imagery; I pay close attention to lighting, composition, and the moment each frame captures. My goal is to tell the unique story of your wedding day through beautiful and memorable images.

Becoming a professional photographer has been an interesting road for me and never in a million years would I have thought that this would be my calling. My dad used to freelance for various newspapers back in the 80’s and also had a wedding photography business on the side. He was hoping one of his kids would catch the bug; I chose to rock out instead. I did, however, learn how to appreciate good photography and used to love cutting out the rock star pictures taken by Annie Leibovitz in Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair to hang on my walls as a teenager. Once the digital revolution hit the photography scene, I got a hold of a Nikon point and shoot and shot... and shot... and shot. I eventually saw that I had more than just a good eye; I was unearthing a hidden gift for capturing moments. I later upgraded from my Nikon CoolPix to a full blown, digital SLR. My passion for my craft has taken me far in a short amount of time - I have gotten to work with some great photographers and gotten to know some amazing people along the way. Please feel free to come check my site out and I look forward to working with you.

Since 1986, Chesapeake Custom Embroidery has been serving Southern Maryland. Originally owned and operated by Betty Manchak, the company offered only embroidery and was run out of a family home. Two years later Betty moved her operation to The Elephant's Trunk off of route 235 (now Exploration Park).

The company started offering screen-printing in 1989 from the garage of the Manchak home. In 1994 Paul (Betty's son) and Diana Manchak took over ownership of the business and in 1998 the business moved to San Souci Plaza and continued to grow.

Since 2003 we have been located in our new 6000 square ft facility in California off of route 235 just south of San Souci Plaza next to the CVS. We have a fully functional, in house, embroidery and screen-printing facility. Your logo can be placed on high quality apparel and accessories from brands like ADIDAS, Champion, Nike, and Columbia. We also offer a variety of promotional products for your company, church, team, or school that can help attract new customers, increase your market presence, or just help you get the recognition you deserve.

At Chesapeake Custom Embroidery, we take pride in what we do. So count on us for quality products, superior service and unquestionable craftsmanship on every piece. We look forward to serving you for all your promotional needs.
